FC Cincinnati forward Aaron Boupendza suffered a broken jaw in a bar altercation earlier this week, with the alleged assailant being a local boxer.

    The Athletic reports that the Gabon international was the victim of a bar altercation earlier this week, where he suffered a broken jaw. The alleged assailant has been named, too, as local professional boxer Quashawn Toler was named in a Police Report obtained.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    The forward underwent surgery for the injury earlier this week, and will be out for nearly two months as a result.

    Toler has a professional record of 17-2 with 12 knockouts, per the report. He did not respond to a comment from The Athletic, nor did FC Cincinnati.
